Testing Our Ideas

We did experiments with Styrofoam balls and other materials to see what worked best.

First we divided up into groups of one, two or three. Our next step was  to figure out a good way that the buoy won't sink or tilt over. Some of us found out that it was good to put string around a carabineer.  Then you attach a glue gun holder. Then you attach a string to the glue gun holder and then you attach the string to a weight and you tie it around. It was better to use two because it wouldn't tilt and it wouldn't sink. That is a small Styrofoam model of our buoy
