Foul Weather Gear
Some of you answered the question of the day from the last blog entry. The area at to top of the picture in the last entry is the Piermont Marsh. A salt marsh on the Hudson River that is important to many different kinds of birds and fish. The picture on the left was taken inside the marsh.A lot of you also suggested that I take rain gear and layers of clothes. Today I took your advice and got out my foul weather gear. This big yellow rain suit may look funny, but it does keep you dry in a storm and you can wear layers of warm clothes underneath. Thanks for all your good advice. Now I need some more help getting ready: What kind of electronic equipment do you think I will need to make this blog work from the Bering Sea? I plan to take pictures and send blog entries as much as possible. The ship already has computers hooked up to the internet, so I will not need to arrange that. Let me know soon, I am getting ready to start packing!

hi i think you should were alot of layers of clothes just incase it is to cold. And bring alot of food and hot coco.I think when you go on the yelow thing dont fall off. when you are on the boat if you are sea sick go to the edge of the boat but dont fall off. i hopr you earring does not fall off if you get sick and lean over the edge. i really hope you send back pictures an info about all the stuff you saw and learned. i will miss you i hope you go when school is over because i do not want a sub. you should bring a camra so you can take pictures. Hi I think that you should bring a lot of clothes because it is going to frezzing. If You get sea sick you would be sick The whole ride, so you should bring something so you don't get sickon the ride.

You should bring a diving suit so you can go underwater and take pictures of the fish. Bring a waterproof camera and a video camera to see lots of animals.

if you want to make sure that the blog system is running perfectly from the arctic to here, just get sattelite so that it reaches. if you want to survive (emotionally) bring some ole' rock'n'roll music. elvis and bill haley always help me when i am dying for good music! make sure you brimg some jonny cash & june carter cd's. trust me!

I think you should bring lots of clothes, a camera, hot cocoa if it gets cold, and bring your cellphone if there is a cellphone service there. I hope you have a great time!
Hi mr.T. Hope you have a great time at sea. Some helpful tips are to bring more clothes than you need because you could fall in the water and get your clothes wet.Very unconfertabal! The last tip is to bring two whole packs of water. You will get fairly thirsty. Hope you use these tips.
