The first 3 categories and the last category are group items. The other categories are for the individual.

Each student will do a self evaluation of their magazine using this rubric, then each group will have another group evaluate the magazine using the rubric. Finally the teacher will give an evaluation to the magazine also using the above rubric.

Calculating the Grade:

bullet

The maximum amount of points earned for a person is 80

bullet

Plagiarized work will be handed back for re-writes.  Any work needed beyond the project deadline will be counted as late as per class policy:  5 points off for each day late.

bullet

There are 9 categories with weights ranging from 1-4 (more important categories have a higher weight of 3 or 4, less important categories have lower weight of 2 or 1).

bullet

For each of the 9 categories you are to circle a level 4,3,2, or 1, then multiply the number by its weight. If you gave yourself all 4’s and multiplied by the weight you would have 80 points.
